Whether your goals are training or nutrition related you should focus on what you can do, not what you think you SHOULD do.
The fact is in training and nutrition there is always more than one way to achieve your goals but it seems that a lot of people are put off starting their journey to a happier, healthier body because they are led to believe they should do it a particular way without considering their current lifestyle and how it is set up.

STOP listening to anyone who tells you there is only one way it should be done or that they have the secret answer for you.
They don’t.
They just have their perspective/life experiences and beliefs.
For instance:
Bulk cooking is fantastic and will suit some people's lifestyle really well, however it can require a few hours of cooking on a weekend which may not suit others. So if you prefer to cook meals fresh every night and have the time to do so then that is great.
Resistance/weight training is amazing for body composition but if you are not comfortable or confident to start however you can get to yoga, Pilates and a spin class and really enjoy it then do it, make the start.
Tracking your food intake is a great tool when fat loss is the goal but if the thought of tracking every mouthful fills you with dread just track a day or even just your breakfasts over the week.
Maybe don’t track at all but lower your portions of breakfast and lunch etc.
The moral of this story is to stop listening to the people who make out there is only one way and that’s what you SHOULD DO and instead focus on what you CAN DO right here and right now to move you forwards.
